Process Capabilities

Integrated engineering and high-volume manufacturing with total process control.

Practical Innovation, Engineered for Long-Term Field Performance.

SBR TECH operates as a vertically integrated partner, maintaining end-to-end control over every stage of the manufacturing lifecycle.

These core capabilities are centralized within our 150,000 sq. ft. facility in Reed City, Michigan.

By keeping engineering, manufacturing, and on-site test track validation in one location, we eliminate the headaches typically experienced with service fragmentation. This also ensures a seamless transition from the first drawing to the factory floor.

Design Engineering

We use advanced modeling to verify performance before the first prototype is ever built.

This proactive approach reduces early uncertainty, and produces high-performance systems that easily scale without going back to the drawing board

Modeling & Analysis

2D/3D CAD Modeling, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

System Development

Comprehensive hardware and software architecture, including embedded systems and functional safety.

Specialized Design

Expertise in magnetic design, EMI/RFI mitigation, and custom integrated circuit (IC) design.

Quality Systems

Quality is not just an inspection point. It is a discipline embedded throughout our entire facility.

We maintain rigorous safety and quality standards to ensure stable performance in environments with no margin for error.

Our facility is IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 certified, and we are currently on the path to CMMC Level 2 compliance.

Full Traceability

Our system logs serial numbers, material lot codes, and moisture-sensitive device (MSD) floor life for every assembly.

Operational Discipline

We utilize a stepped testing methodology, documented process controls, and a robust 5S system.

Testing Lab

SBR TECH provides end-to-end verification through in-house testing labs. No third-party vendors.

We design and build our own custom test fixtures to match specific program requirements, which ensures a 100% functional check-out before any unit leaves our dock.

Every unit is verified. Every step recorded.

SMT Lines

Our surface mount technology lines provide high-speed, high-precision assembly for high-reliability electronics.

We maintain an excess capacity to ensure that our customers needs are always met and we have the ability to flex and meet incremental demand.

Technical Depth

Controlled solder deposition and reflow processes for fine-pitch, multilayer, and mixed-component layouts.

Automated Precision

High-speed chip shooters and flexible placement machines handle fine-pitch and odd-form components.

Process Verification

3D solder paste inspection (SPI) and post-reflow AOI detect and correct defects in real-time.

Thermal Control

We utilize continually monitored thermal profiling and reflow oven temperature monitoring.

Injection Molding

We specialize in precision injection molding engineered for the operational demands of military and defense applications

Our molding process is tightly integrated with electronic assembly for complete box-build solutions. We monitor temperature, time, pressure, and cycle requirements for repeatable quality.

Traceability

We track material lot and mold cavity IDs to ensure process control per your exact material specifications.

In-House Tooling

We provide in-house tooling design, validation, and first article inspection from prototype through production.

Wiring Assemblies

Our wire harness and cable assembly process delivers uncompromising performance in mission-critical environments.

Every connection is verified end-to-end through documented routing and termination processes. We support complex builds ranging from simple assemblies to multi-branch harnesses.

Full Processing

We perform in-house wire cutting, stripping, termination, and soldering.

Verified Performance

We utilize 100% continuity testing and pull testing to ensure mechanical and electrical integrity.

Let’s Build What’s Next

SBR TECH delivers real systems and real performance built to last.

Whether you’re a military prime contractor or automotive OEM, our 200-acre, veteran founded facility is ready to support your most demanding programs.
